Terms and Conditions for GLPmate
Terms of Service Last updated: 25 July 2026 These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GLPMate website and subscription service available at https://glpmate.org. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription or using GLPMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service. 1. About GLPMate GLPMate is a service that proactively calls people taking GLP-1 receptor agonist medication to ask about their wellbeing, symptoms and treatment progress. You can contact us at: Email: samar@glpmate.org Website: https://glpmate.org 2. Eligibility You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use GLPMate. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or purchasing a subscription. 3. Not medical advice GLPMate is intended to help you record and communicate information about your wellbeing and treatment progress. GLPMate does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment and is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional. You should not start, stop or change any medication based solely on information provided by GLPMate. Always seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional regarding your medication, symptoms or treatment. GLPMate is not an emergency service. If you believe that you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 or attend the nearest emergency department. For urgent medical advice in the United Kingdom, contact NHS 111. 4. Your responsibilities You agree to: * provide accurate and up-to-date information; * answer questions honestly and to the best of your knowledge; * keep your account and contact details secure; * use the service only for lawful purposes; * seek appropriate medical advice when required; and * tell us if you no longer wish to receive calls. You remain responsible for your own healthcare decisions and for deciding whether to share any report or information generated by GLPMate with a healthcare professional. 5. Calls and communications By subscribing to GLPMate and providing your telephone number, you agree that we may contact you by telephone in connection with the service. Calls may be conducted or assisted by automated or artificial-intelligence technology. Calls may be recorded or transcribed where you have been informed and any required consent has been obtained. You can withdraw your consent to receive calls by contacting samar@glpmate.org. Withdrawing consent may prevent us from providing some or all of the service. 6. Subscriptions and payment GLPMate is provided as a paid subscription service. The subscription price, billing frequency and features included in your plan will be shown before you complete your purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your selected payment method. You authorise us and our payment provider to collect the applicable subscription fee on each renewal date. You are responsible for ensuring that your billing and payment information is accurate and up to date. We may change our subscription prices by giving you reasonable notice. Any price change will normally apply from your next renewal date. 7. Cancellation You may cancel your subscription at any time through the available account controls or by contacting samar@glpmate.org. Unless otherwise stated, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You may continue to use the service until that date, and your subscription will not renew. Cancelling a subscription does not automatically entitle you to a refund, except as set out below or where required by law. 8. Refunds You may request a full refund within seven days of your initial purchase by contacting samar@glpmate.org. Your request must include the email address used to purchase the subscription and sufficient information for us to identify the payment. Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. After the seven-day refund period, payments are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits any cancellation or refund rights you may have under UK consumer law. 9. Service availability We aim to make GLPMate available reliably, but we do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or error-free. We may temporarily restrict or suspend access to the service for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons. We may modify, update or discontinue parts of the service. Where a material change adversely affects an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice where practicable. 10. Reports and service outputs GLPMate may generate summaries, reports, recommendations to seek assistance or other outputs based on the information you provide. Automated outputs may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies. You should review any report before relying on it or sharing it with another person. GLPMate does not guarantee that it will identify every symptom, side effect, complication or medical concern. Healthcare professionals remain responsible for their own assessment and clinical decisions. A report generated by GLPMate does not establish a doctor-patient relationship between you and GLPMate. 11. Intellectual property The GLPMate website, software, branding, designs, text, workflows and other service materials are owned by or licensed to GLPMate and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose during your subscription. You may download, retain and share reports created for you. You retain ownership of the information that you submit to GLPMate. You must not: * copy, reproduce or commercially exploit the GLPMate service; * sell, sublicense or provide access to the service to another person; * reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except where permitted by law; * remove any copyright, trade mark or ownership notice; * interfere with the security or operation of the service; or * use GLPMate to develop or train a competing product or service without our written permission. 12. Acceptable use You must not use GLPMate: * unlawfully, fraudulently or maliciously; * to impersonate another person; * to submit false, harmful or misleading information; * to introduce malware or other harmful technology; * to gain unauthorised access to any account, system or data; * in a way that places an unreasonable burden on the service; or * on behalf of another person without their permission. We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or that your use creates a risk to another person or to the service. 13. Privacy We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy: https://glpmate.org/privacy-policy The information we may collect includes your name, email address, telephone number, payment information and information you provide during your use of the service. We may also use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy and cookie controls. 14. Third-party services GLPMate may rely on third-party providers for services such as payments, telephone calls, artificial-intelligence processing, hosting, communications and data storage. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services that are outside our control. Your use of a third-party service may also be governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy. 15. Disclaimers GLPMate is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that: * the service will always be available or free from defects; * automated calls or reports will be completely accurate; * every relevant medical concern will be detected; * the service will achieve any particular health or treatment outcome; or * the service will be suitable for your individual medical circumstances. Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty or legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. 16. Limitation of liability Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for: * death or personal injury caused by negligence; * fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; * breach of any legal rights that cannot be excluded; or * any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to the above, GLPMate will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of opportunity or loss arising from your failure to seek appropriate medical advice. Where permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of GLPMate will not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to us during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. 17. Suspension and termination You may stop using GLPMate and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if: * you materially breach these Terms; * a payment is overdue or unsuccessful; * your use presents a security, legal or safety risk; * we are required to do so by law; or * we discontinue the service. Where reasonably possible, we will give you notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before terminating your access. Provisions relating to intellectual property, liability, privacy, governing law and any outstanding payment obligations will continue to apply after termination. 18. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, our business practices or applicable law. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. The updated Terms will also be published on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. By continuing to use GLPMate after the updated Terms take effect, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree with a material change, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect. 19. Governing law and disputes These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will retain any mandatory protections available under the laws of the country in which you live. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms, although consumers living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also be entitled to bring proceedings in their local courts. Before beginning legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at samar@glpmate.org so that we can attempt to resolve the dispute informally. 20. General terms If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations where this does not reduce your legal protections. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any information presented to you when purchasing a subscription, form the agreement between you and GLPMate. 21.
